A FLINTSHIRE fraudster has been fined for breaching the terms of his suspended sentence.
Robert James Lloyd, 34, of Thomas Row in Bagillt appeared before Mold Crown Court on Thursday, July 6.
He was previously sentenced to a six-month sentence, suspended for 18 months for money laundering offences.
That involved being part of an enterprise which swindled two pensioners out of £17,700 and £61,800 respectively through work done to their properties.
The court was told that the terms of the suspended sentence were breached when Lloyd failed to attend a planned office appointment on May 26 of this year.

Lloyd claimed he missed the appointment due to 'taking his child to a GP appointment' - but there was no evidence provided to support this.
However, he had completed all of the 150 hours of unpaid work set out as part of his suspended sentence, the court heard.
Lloyd, who represented himself in court, was handed a £100 fine by Recorder Wyn Lloyd Jones.
Recorder Lloyd Jones said: "You really, really need to show more commitment to this."
