A PERSON was taken to hospital following a crash between a car and a motorcycle on the A483 in Wrexham last night (July 5).
Traffic Wales confirmed at 5.50pm that lane two had been closed following an RTC on the southbound carriageway.
The incident took place near Ruabon J1 and saw the road closed until around 7.30pm.
North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service have now confirmed that the incident involved a car and a motorcycle.

WAS also confirmed that one person was taken to hospital following the crash.
A spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.15pm yesterday, Wednesday 05 July, to reports of a road traffic accident involving a motorcyclist near junction one of the A483 in Wrexham.
“We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, and one person was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”
North Wales Police described it as a 'minor injury collision'.
A statement from North Wales Police read: "This was a minor injury collision involving a car and a motorcycle which came in at 17:20 on the A483 at Ruabon.
"The road re-opened around 7:30pm."
