NORTH Wales Police have issued a road safety alert after a number of motorists were detected exceeding a village 20mph limit.
CHIRK Policing Team deployed the Ultra Lyte Laser Tech speed gun on the B4500 Pontfadog, Glyn Ceriog yesterday (July 5).
A number of motorists were detected to have broken the limit, with the highest reading recording being 32mph.

North Wales Police want to remind all road users to adhere to the speed limit at the location to prevent any accidents from occurring.
The 20mph speed limit is well displayed coming in and out of Pontfadog.
Police will be deploying at this stretch of the B4500 in the coming weeks until they are satisfied with the average speed of drivers.
