THE WALES Comic Con team has announced the date for when the popular event will return to Wrexham this year.
The popular convention moved from Glyndwr University to Telford International Centre back in 2019, but made its long-awaited return to Wrexham in August of last year.
Formed in 2009, down the years it has proven to be one of Wrexham's most popular events on the calendar.
And this year will be no different as guests cosplay their way to another memorable day and get the chance to meet some of their heroes.
The Wales Comic Con team has now confirmed that the 2023 edition will take place at Wrexham Glyndwr University on the weekend of September 2 and 3.

A statement from the team confirming the news read: "We are thrilled to announce the return of our epic #Homecoming event lands this September 2nd and 3rd weekend, confirming an entire two-day event for the calendar at Glyndwr University in Wrexham.
"The town is buzzing from top to tail and we are pleased to be able to return once again for another fun-filled event that the family can enjoy celebrating great art, media and pop-culture as part of one fantastic Comic Con shaped package.
"Tickets for the event are on sale now, and applications including; access, press and traders will go live over the next seven days.
"It's an exciting time for us as we can now bring you three unique events each year through our Wales Comic Con and Telford Takeover brands.
"With the turnaround time much shorter than we had anticipated for this next event be sure to keep all eyes on social media over the coming weeks with many announcements to celebrate.
"Let's have some fun, and we cannot wait to see you again for another memorable journey together! #WCC2023"
Already announced as famous guests for the event are Mark Addy, Patricia Quinn, Seth Gilliam and Amanda Abbington.
