POLICE in Wrexham are planning more patrols in the area following reports of speeding.
The force have been conducting patrols in the Crabtree Green and Eyton areas after reports of motorists exceeding the speed limits.
Officers were in the area on Saturday (June 1) and found no speeding occurred, but believe their presence impacted motorists speeds.
More plans are in place for further patrols today (June 2) and in the coming weeks.

The patrols come after more than 100 speeding offences were picked up the go safe van in Overton this week.
PSCO Dean Sawyer said: "After reports of speeding in the Crabtree Green and Eyton areas NWPolice patrols are ongoing by local PCSO Dean Sawyer.
"Yesterday no speeding was witnessed however the police presence definitely had a positive effect on vehicle speeds.
"More patrols planned today and the coming weeks."
