WREXHAM AFC have confirmed that a stand at the Racecourse Ground will be renamed as part of a sponsorship deal.
In May, it was announced that the oldest international stadium in the world would be getting a name change.
STōK Cold Brew Coffee became the official sponsor of the Racecourse Ground and it would be renamed the STōK Racecourse.
The deal came into effect yesterday (July 1) and the club announced on their social media that one of the stands would be renamed as well.
The former University End/Tech End has been renamed as the STōK Cold Brew Coffee Stand.

The club said on social media: "Today marks the official start point of @stokcoldbrew's sponsorship of the world's oldest international football stadium.
"The University End stand will also be renamed as the STōK Cold Brew Coffee Stand."
On the announcement of the stadium name change, co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney said: ”We wanted a stadium sponsor that captured the vitality and energy of Wrexham Association Football Club while also, like Welsh, being a bit of a learning experience to say. STōK Cold Brew Coffee fit the bill perfectly. We’re incredibly excited and a little over-caffeinated.”
Humphrey Ker, executive director of Wrexham AFC added: “We are delighted to welcome STōK to the Wrexham family. Having secured the support of the Club Advisory Board and understanding that the majority of fans were happy for the stadium to be sponsored, we were delighted to partner with one of the fastest growing cold brew coffee brands in the U.S., as their ambitions and upward trajectory matches our own.”
Wrexham are set to head to America on their pre-season tour in a couple of weeks before the League Two campaign gets underway.
The Reds host MK Dons at home on the opening weekend in August.
