A COMMUNITY councillor in Wrexham is set to meet with police to discuss issues with dog attacks in the area.
Inspector Luke Hughes said that at 8.45pm on Wednesday, police received a report of a dog bite injury at Rhosddu Park.
It was the second incident in a number of days, which has led to Insp Hughes looking at ways of dealing with the problem.
Rhosddu councillor Marc Jones took to social media on Thursday evening to say he was made aware of another dog attack at the same park and was looking to speak with the police to address it.
He also encouraged other residents and dog owners to come forward if they had experienced similar incidents in the area.

Cllr Jones said: "I've also been made aware of one dog attacking another on the park, which has caused serious injuries to the dog and great distress to the owner.
"I know the vast majority of local dog owners are responsible and would be horrified at this kind of incident.
"I'll be meeting the local police sergeant to discuss what can be done - if you've had any experiences of dog attacks, please report them or get in touch with me.
"I'm repeating my request to the council to fix the damaged fencing that allows dogs to access or exit the park through the fence."
