A FLINTSHIRE woman has been left shaken by an early morning arson attack on her garden fence.
Angela Williams was woken by neighbours to the incident which occurred just yards away from her property on Highmere Drive in Connah's Quay in the early hours of Thursday.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it sent one appliance to the blaze, which is being treated as arson. North Wales Police is said to be now investigating the incident.

Mrs Williams, aged 62, said: "To be alerted at 5.30am by a neighbour that the fence was on fire with two vehicles only a few feet away was extremely frightening," she said. "Had the fire sparked either of the cars it could have been devastating.
"It has really shaken us because we're worried it might happen again and that's unfair, as you should feel safe in your home."
She added: "Whoever is responsible for this dreadful act needs to know that not only has it shaken and upset us, but we now have the inconvenience and expense of repairing the fence which isn't going to be cheap."
Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact North Wales Police on 101, or via its website.
