A PLANNING application to turn a bar into apartments is among the latest submitted to Flintshire Council.
The proposal is to convert the Boathouse Sports Bar, in the precinct on the High Street in Connah's Quay, into seven apartments.
The proposals relate to the change of use of the bar premises at ground floor. The apartments will be mixed between one and two bedroom units with six two-beds and one, one-bedroom apartment.
Cycle storage and refuse storage will be provided to the rear of the site. No formal designated parking will be provided as part of the proposals given the site’s location within a main centre and wide range of transport options.
The bar remains open pending the outcome of the planning decision.
