AFTER 15 long years, Wrexham AFC are back in League Two, and it will prove to be a much cheaper season for the club's most loyal fans.
With a large number of teams in the fifth tier based in the south, the 23 away games Wrexham had worked out at a combined 7,776 miles in return journeys.
That staggering amount of miles equated to £1,710.72 in petrol money.
Not only do fans have League Two to look forward to, but they can also look forward to shorter journeys and saving money on fuel!
The 23 away games Wrexham will play in League Two work out at a combined 2,923 miles. For the return journeys, it equates to 5,846 miles all in all.
While still not cheap, with current petrol prices, that works out at £1,097.68 in fuel money for Reds fans this season.

Wrexham fans can look forward to short trips to Crewe (28 miles), Tranmere (31 miles) and Stockport (51 miles).
They will still have some long away days, in the shape of Colchester (246 miles), Crawley (236 miles), and Gillingham (233 miles).
The Reds start their League Two campaign at home to MK Dons, with their first away trip to Wimbledon.
