A PERSON has been taken to hospital after a car hit a tree in Wrexham.
The emergency services were called to the incident on a road in Bronwylfa, near Rhos, early this morning (Wednesday, June 21).
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.10am this morning to report a collision in Bronwylfa, Wrexham, near to Hall Lane.
"Emergency services attended which resulted in one man being taken to hospital. The road was closed whilst recovery was arranged."
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said it sent two engines to the scene of the incident, which involved a car colliding with a tree.
Upon arrival of firefighters, the person involved in the collision had freed themself from the vehicle.
