FLINTSHIRE Foodbank has issued an appeal for volunteers.
The appeal comes ahead of the foodbank's upcoming drives which will see collections take place at local supermarkets over the summer.
A spokesperson for Flintshire Foodbank said: "We have some Food Drives over the next few months that we will need volunteers for! We have food drives/supermarket collections to boost our stock levels.
"Our volunteers are in store to hand out shopping lists and accept donations. If you are able to spare two hours we would be very grateful. We are looking at the following dates:
- Tesco Mold- Friday, July 21
- Morrisons Connah's Quay- Saturday, July, 22
- Tesco Broughton- Friday, August, 11
"Please only commit if you are certain you will be able to come, as we have had lots of people that did not turn up in the past."
