A MCDONALD'S "delivery kitchen" is set to open its doors in Wrexham.
The fast food giant has confirmed that the kitchen is opening at a unit on Rhosddu Industrial Estate this summer.
The chain launched its first delivery kitchen in 2019. They are not open to the public, but instead assist with McDonald's deliveries.
They focus solely on delivery, preparing food once an order arrives via a delivery app or an online ordering system. Once the meal is ready, drivers collect it for delivery.

A McDonald's spokesperson said: "We can confirm that the new Wrexham delivery kitchen is opening later in the summer to help nearby restaurants meet the demand from McDelivery orders.
"The opening will ensure that restaurants in the surrounding area can continue to provide the service and convenience that our customers expect, while ensuring that McDelivery customers have a great experience.”
The chain added that while the Wrexham delivery kitchen will not open to the public, the kitchen "looks and feels exactly the same as all of our other kitchens up and down the country".
"It will deliver the same great tasting food our customers expect, prepared by our people to exactly the same standards," McDonald's said.
