THE MET OFFICE is predicting a mixture of 'sunny spells and scattered heavy showers' for the rest of the week (June 19-23) across the Wrexham and Flintshire area.
After thunderstorms cleared the air in North Wales on Sunday evening (June 18), the Met Office has predicted a cloudy start to the week with some showers and warm spells.
The maximum temperature today will be 23°C with 'winds remaining light and feeling rather humid.' The clouds will part giving plenty of warm sunny spells.
Tuesday will start with 'outbreaks of heavy rain pushing northwards' before sunshine and scattered showers in the afternoon which could turn thundery as the afternoon progresses.

There will be a maximum temperature of 22°C.
The rest of the week will see scattered heavy showers on Wednesday, drier skies on Thursday with some sunshine before rain arriving on Friday.
Winds are generally light this week and the temperature will remain warm.
