A FAMILY-friendly food fair is returning to a Wrexham country park this month.

The Food Fair at Alyn Waters Country Park, will celebrate food traders from across Wrexham and surrounding areas on Saturday, 24th June.

Held at Venue in the Park, local charity Groundwork North Wales are keen to celebrate Wrexham's community pride, bringing people together to support and enjoy some delicious food from vendors across Wrexham, showcasing what small businesses in the community have to offer.

Attendees will find a great variety of stalls, from delicious baked goodies, locally produced cider, home-grown cold pressed sunflower oils, and so much more!

The Food Fair will be open from 11am to 3pm, for visitors to drop by and browse the local produce. People can also explore the country park after a visit to the stalls, making it a great day out for the whole family.

Event organiser, Amy Rutter, said: "We're so excited to be hosting this event at Venue in the Park again this year, bringing together small local businesses and the community.

"There will be something for everyone - including facepainting for children (or adults) and even tasty treats for our four-legged friends."
