An annual amateur boxing night in Brymbo has raised over £12,000 for charity with participants having just eight weeks to train.
The fighters raised funds during their training for Cancer Research UK with former kickboxing world champion Russ Williams in his gyms in Wrexham and Caerwys along with instructors Justin Fox, Andrew Roberts and Martin Griffiths.
Top Fundraisers were Kayleigh Jolliffee and Helen Priestman who between them raised just over £3,500.
The event is run with Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) who have worked with Russ Williams Martial Art & Boxing Centres above Penny Black in Abbot Street, Wrexham, and on the square in Caerwys since 2015.
There was a packed crowd at the Brymbo Enterprise Centre as the fighters from Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire areas gathered on Saturday, June 10.
