THERE'S some exciting events coming up in Flintshire over the next couple of weeks.

On June 18 'Discover Etna Park' in Buckley is taking place, a guided walk with a knowledgeable ranger for an exciting and informative trail learning about the nature spot's history.  

June 24 will see Greenfield Valley Trust host their outdoor music event ‘Live at the Valley’. The event will see a diverse line-up and fun activities for all to enjoy with more live music than ever across two stages, featuring circus skills, craft, games, free activities, street food, draft beer, gin bar and more

The event will feature music from Montagues, Wilbur Milton, Sam Wise, George Formby Society, Peter Kenway, Dinah and the Sharks, The Cheese Cutters, Red Clay Halo and Ruby Blues.

As well as the annual River Ramble and Bat walk in August at Wepre Park, with dates to be confirmed, the park will also welcome the return of Illyria, the award-winning company to present ‘Robin Hood’, an action-packed heist for the whole family on July 1.  

The show at Wepre Park sold out in 2022, and tickets for this year's show are still on sale.

Cllr David Healey, cabinet member for Climate Change and Economy at Flintshire Council said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for the community to learn more about our natural spaces and enjoy events together and with our knowledgeable team.
