A BOOTS store in Flintshire will close later this year, it has been confirmed.
The pharmacy and cosmetics company currently has over 2,200 stores throughout the UK.
That includes several in north Wales - from Bangor to Wrexham and everywhere in between.
But, the firm has now confirmed that it will be closing its site based on Holywell High Street - which is a pharmacy - on August 26.
However, Boots added that jobs will not be affected, with staff said to have been offered roles at other stores in the local area.
A Boots spokesperson said: "The Boots Holywell High Street store will close on the 26th August 2023."

The spokesperson added: "Team members have been offered opportunities in other stores in the local area. Our store on Church Street in Flint is less than five miles away and will continue to offer pharmacy services for customers.”
In the meantime, the local Rowlands Pharmacy team, based on Halkyn Road, has urged any affected patients to arrange to find new pharmacies.
In a statement, they said: "Our team at Rowlands Pharmacy, Halkyn Road (next door to Bodowen Surgery) encourage all affected patients to arrange with their surgeries a new nominated pharmacy as soon as possible to ensure a smooth transition.
"Our team will warmly welcome all new patients and will happily answer any questions regarding the services we currently provide."
