Wrexham Police officers are warning the public to keep and eye on others in this warm weather.
In today’s (June 13) update by Wrexham Town Police, there was a call for people to look after the most vulnerable in the community as well as a reminder to not lock pets in hot cars.

Inspector Luke Hughes said in his daily update: “Good afternoon all, another beautiful day in our glorious City Town, the weather has been most kind in recent weeks, but not everyone will appreciate this… please keep an eye on the more vulnerable members of our community, maybe individuals that are less mobile or elderly.
“Please consider what neighbourly things you can do to help. Also consider the welfare of animals in this weather.
“Dogs walking on hot pavement etc and of course don’t forget our summer 'special officer', we will happily ventilate any parked vehicles with animals inside by happily 'opening' all your windows, just give us a quick call.”
