A FITTING headstone has been placed at the grave of a "legend" of amateur football in Wrexham.
Adam Bradshaw, aged 37, died suddenly in September 2022. A father-of-two, Adam's loss has been felt by the entire Caia Park community where he lived all his life.
Adam was best known for his footballing talents - which saw him represent a host of different amateur clubs in the Wrexham area.
FC Queens Park, where Adam played for five seasons, described him as having a "wand of a left foot". The club said he was a "truly humble character".
"Once you were friends with Adam, you had a friend for life," FC Queens Park said.
Adam was said to be a "legend" within the wider local football community, having represented Llay, Chirk as well as his beloved Queens Park.
And his grave has now been fitted with a beautifully fitting headstone, where he has been laid to rest in Plas Acton Cemetery.

It has been made by Stephen Price Memorials Pentre Broughton and is the brainchild of Adam's mum, Karon. It's in a special football shirt design - which even has FC Queens Park's emblem on it.
In January, Ryan Reynolds invited Adam's son, Keegen, to watch Wrexham AFC's FA Cup third-round tie against Sheffield United alongside him in Aviation Gin suite at The Racecourse.
The star Wrexham co-owner also funded a new kit for Keegen's futsal team, FC United of Wrexham Under 12.
After Keegen's mum, Kayleigh, launched the fundraiser for the team to get its own kit - she was shocked to see that Wrexham AFC's star co-owner, Ryan Reynolds, donated £1,600 towards it.
She was "lost for words", and "over the moon".
"Thank you Ryan for putting a smile on the team's face, if thank you is even enough," she added.
"After I told Keegen, he screamed and went wild - saying 'oh my gosh, has he really?'
"Keegen is Wrexham's number one fan. His Dad would be made up for him and bursting with pride."
