THE MET OFFICE is predicting 'plenty of warm sunshine' for the rest of the week ahead in Wales.
As the thunderstorms clear in the region, the forecast is predicting some much more enjoyable weather.
For the period between today (June 13) and Saturday, June 17, the Met Office states: "Any cloud soon lifting, mostly dry, plenty of warm sunshine."
Today will see a 'murky start for many' with low cloud lingering around western coasts.
Elsewhere, cloud should be breaking and lifting through the morning, leaving a dry day with warm sunshine. A small chance of a shower later and a maximum temperature 27 °C.
Tonight, we should expect 'any showers to soon fade' with mostly clear skies developing across the region, perhaps with a few isolated mist patches forming here and there by dawn.
The Met Office is predicting 'another warm and humid night' with a minimum temperature of 15 °C.

Tomorrow (Wednesday, June 14) will see any early morning mist 'quickly clearing' and leaving the region with plenty of summer sunshine as temperatures rise during the morning.
Maximum temperature of 25 °C.
Outlook for Thursday (June 15) to Saturday (June 17) is as follows; "Mostly settled with plenty of dry weather and long periods of warm sunshine on Thursday and Friday. Feeling much fresher with an increasing chance of a shower on Saturday."
