POLICE officers based in Flintshire say that anti-social behaviour (ASB) incidents are causing 'unnecessary demand' on the force's resources.
Just last month, a North Wales Police operation took place to crack down on anti-social behaviour in Flintshire and Wrexham.
Neighbourhood Policing Teams and PCSOs from Wrexham City, Wrexham Rural, Flintshire North and Flintshire South came together on set impact days in each area to carry out dedicated high visibility and plain clothes patrols, targeting hotspots in each district.
And that work continued over the weekend as police officers in Flintshire tackled ASB incidents in the likes of Carmel - where patrols were stepped up.

Officers dealt with off-roading bikers in Mostyn and 'general nuisance' incidents throughout the area.
The force labelled the incidents as 'unacceptable'.
A statement from the NWP North Flintshire team on Sunday, June 11, read: "Rota1 with you tonight. It's a busy start to our shift with ASB related incidents across Flintshire involving youths on off road bikes and being a general nuisance.
"This unacceptable behaviour is causing an unnecessary demand on our resources and appropriate action will be taken."
