FLINT RNLI came to the rescue of a person who was taken ill at Greenfield Dock this week.
The volunteer crew were paged at 2:32pm on Wednesday (June 7) by HM Coastguard to assist a person who was taken ill on board a vessel near Greenfield.
On arrival at Greenfield Dock, the volunteer crew were approached by a member of the public to inform them that the casualty had been brought ashore in another vessel.
The volunteer lifeboat crew, along with members of Flint Coastguard Rescue Team provided casualty care until handover into the care of the North Wales Ambulance Service.

A spokesperson for Flint RNLI said: "The lifeboat was launched to the casualty's vessel with one person on board who required assistance in recovering its nets and returning to its mooring.
"The lifeboat volunteers washed down, refuelled and were ready for service by 4:15pm."
