Speaking about the new initiative, Kate Leonard from Aura Wales said: “As a leading partner in the North East Wales Adult Community Learning Programme, Aura is delighted to be able to offer people the opportunity to develop their skating skills and have some fun in our ice arena at Deeside Leisure Centre.
"Funding from the programme has made it possible for us to deliver these sessions to our local community, and I’d encourage everyone to take a look at the many other fantastic free opportunities we have on offer.”
The popular ice rink re-opened its doors last year following a two-year closure which saw the venue used as a vaccine centre during the coronavirus pandemic.
