A WREXHAM man has been fined after he was caught with cocaine.
Ryan Moore, of High Street in Ruabon, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.
The 31-year-old admitted that on April 19 at Acrefair, he had in his possession a quantity of cocaine.
Prosecutor Rhian Jackson told the court that Moore was a passenger in a vehicle which was stopped by police at around 5.20pm.
Both he and the driver were detained and taken to a police station to be searched.
A small bag of white powder - later confirmed to be cocaine - was seized from the defendant.

Stephen Edwards, defending, told the court that his client had suffered mental health problems for the past few years and was under the treatment of a psychiatrist.
"When he takes his medication regularly he has no problem at all and can function normally," he said.
"Unfortunately on this occasion, when he was in the car with the other man, he'd stopped taking his medication and was persuaded to use a quantity of cocaine.
"He was in possession of a small quantity - it was for his own personal use."

Mr Edwards said that with the help of his family, the defendant had gotten "back on track" and there was "no suggestion he's a drug addict."
"On this occasion he made a very stupid mistake and he's here to pay the price," he concluded.
The court ordered Moore to pay a fine of £250, as well as £100 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
