FAR FROM Saints have hailed Wrexham as 'absolutely incredible' following a set of unforgettable gigs held there over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The band teamed up with Wrexham band Declan Swans and American rock legends and headliners Kings of Leon for two nights of unbelievable music at the Racecourse at the end of May.
The new band is made up of Stereophonics man Kelly Jones and Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker from The Wind and The Wave.
Their debut track 'Let's Turn This Back Around' has been met with rave reviews and their headline show at London's EartH Theatre on June 5 was sold out within just two hours.
And ahead of their self-titled debut album being released on June 16, Far From Saints performed at the epic Racecourse double-header.
Patty Lynn has labelled those nights as a 'privilege'.

The singer added: "Wrexham was absolutely incredible. To be part of the first concert experience there since Hollywood came to town, with the passionate football fans and concert goers of that area was such a privilege. Also, I love Kings of Leon!"
Although they had first toured together in 2013, it was 2019 when the musical magnetism between the three musicians became too strong to ignore as The Wind and The Wave supported Kelly during his solo tour.
They started by covering Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty’s ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around’, which went down a storm each night.
In backstage hallways, dressing rooms, and hotels, Kelly, Patty and Dwight went on to trade musical touchstones, talk influences and harmonise together.
Soon, they were writing songs too and committed to working on a project together.
The May Bank Holiday was the first time the band had performed together in Wrexham - but not the first time Kelly had been on stage at the Racecourse.
The much-loved Welsh rocker had previously entertained fans at the Reds' home ground on two other memorable occasions with the Stereophonics.

Taking in elements of country, rock, folk, soul and Americana, Far From Saints' debut album is an indelible set of ten expertly crafted songs that touch on themes of love, perseverance, self-doubt and self-healing.
The album - out on June 16 - is announced alongside the new track ‘Take It Through The Night’ and will be available on CD, LP and digital formats.
The band is also due to play three outdoor shows as special guests to Paul Weller, as well as Glastonbury Festival and Black Deer Festival in June, with further shows to be announced soon.
