HUNDREDS of pounds worth of gardening supplies were stolen in Wrexham this week.
During Thursday's daily police update, Inspector Rob Stevenson detailed incidents reported to officers 24 hours before.
Insp Stevenson revealed that £800 worth of gardening supplies were stolen overnight from a local retail premise.
The inspector also warned that incidents like this had become 'a bit of a problem' due to the recent warm weather.

Inspector Stevenson said: "Reports of £800 worth of gardening supplies stolen overnight from the outdoor gardening section of a retail premise.
"This has become a bit of a problem of late, with the summer now upon us and gardening supplies have become a popular item to steal.
"Coincidentally, I was updated by neighbourhood Sergeant Hughes that premises in the city with outdoor sales areas are starting to cover their premises with SMARTWATER - an invisible unique traceable liquid which makes you light up like Blackpool illuminations under a UV light.
"Nice deterrent, and ideal evidence to prosecute offenders."
