A WREXHAM brewery supplied beverages for the Kings of Leon as they rocked Wrexham during the recent Bank Holiday weekend.
The multi-award winning rock band took to the stage for two sell-out concerts at The Racecourse stadium - the home of Wrexham AFC.
And Wrexham business Big Hand Brewing Co Ltd had the honour of being selected in supplying the band with beers to enjoy backstage.
Celebrating 10 years in the brewing business it was the perfect way to recognise this achievement, especially knowing the Kings of Leon would be enjoying its award-winning American Pale Ale – Appaloosa.
After sadly losing its founder Dave Shaw to cancer last year, the team at Big Hand have pulled together to continue his legacy and say it is occasions like this that make it all worthwhile.
Carole Shaw, wife of Dave, who is fondly known as the ‘Accidental Brewer’ personally delivered the beers.
She said: “We were beyond thrilled and it was an absolute pleasure to have been involved in this fantastic event supporting the band during their performances – cheers to the Beer of Kings.”
