A 16-week-old puppy is the newest training police dog recruit.
Training Police Dog Archie is hoping to become a future specialist search dog with the Cheshire and North Wales Police Dogs.
The Alliance Police Dogs unit is a collaboration between North Wales Police and Cheshire Constabulary to provide general purpose, firearms support and specialist search dogs.
These furry friends support officers' ranging policing activities – from tackling serious and organised crime to helping bring vulnerable people back to a place of safety.

Specialist search dogs within the unit, which has over 40 dogs, are also trained to detect firearms, ammunition, cash and drugs.
A spokesperson for the unit said: “Welcome to the unit TPD Archie! A 16 week old fox red Labrador and potential future specialist search dog.
“A huge thanks to the very kind member of the public from North Wales who donated him to the force.”
