A WREXHAM community is set to hold its summer funday.
Rhosddu's family funday is being held on Saturday, June 10.
The event will run from mid-day to 6pm and is free. Among the attractions on the stage will be live music from Joey Dickenson, Andy Hickie, TUF Kingdom, Matt Carroll and Stages. There will also be performances by local community choir, Cor DAW, and Bitesize Theatre.
The event, which will be held on Rhosddu Park, has been organised by a group of local volunteers and is supported by Rhosddu Community Council. This is well as sponsorship by a number of local businesses - Station Cars, Vicky’s Dog Grooming, Hairlicious and the Beauty Corner.

One of the event organisers, Councillor Marc Jones, said: "The team has put together a great combination for the day that has something for everyone - with rides, a petting zoo, stalls, facepainting and live entertainment as well as local food and drink outlets and even a cocktail bar.
"There has been a great reaction in the community to the event, which is free to enter, and hopefully the park will be packed on the day. We're thankful for the backing of Rhosddu Community Council and all the stallholders who have pledged to give 10 per cent of their takings to Wrexham Foodbank."
