SAFETY concerns have been raised after reports of people fixing vehicles at the side of a road in Llay.
At their most recent meeting, members of Llay Community Council discussed anti-social behaviour issues in Tenth Avenue.
Following the meeting, Llay County Councillor Bryan Apsley, who is also chairman of the community council, said the problems relate to people repairing vehicles at the side of the road and the safety issues that presents.
He explained: "There have been a lot of instances where people turn into the road and are driving up - and someone is under a car with half of their body sticking out into the road.
"And there has been a lot of oil leaked and deposited on the road; it's become a real safety hazard."

Cllr Apsley said community councillors who have tried to resolve the situation have been met with abuse.
He said he has heard similar concerns from residents about the issue, leading to North Wales Police being informed - adding: "The place is looking very untidy as well, which is not good.
"They shouldn't be doing it. There has been far more than one car involved, and it's been going on for six months, increasing in the numbers of cars and people all the time.
"And I am concerned it will become more with the weather being good now."

Inspector Matt Subacchi of the Wrexham Rural policing team told the Leader: "I have been made aware of some issues in Llay – in particular road safety issues.
"I will be progressing enquiries into this matter to understand what has happened and to see what appropriate action needs to be taken."
A Wrexham Council spokesman said: "The housing department are aware of low level anti-social behaviour and are taking appropriate action to work with the individuals concerned to resolve the issues.”
