THERE has been a lot of activity at a Flintshire pub, as it get set to take centre stage for something a bit different.
Eagled eyed visitors to Mold might have spotted that things have started happening at the Dolphin hotel, in Mold.
Following on from its huge sell-out run at the same venue in 2018, this summer Theatr Clwyd takes over the venue for their interactive performance of The Great Gatsby (June 15 to August 27), a co-production with The Guild of Misrule, where the audience is at the heart of the action.
The cast and creative team have now gathered in Mold as rehearsals have begun, while the venue gets sent back in time.
The Dolphin itself will be completely transformed. Designed by Welsh designer Heledd Rees, the space will be transformed into a variety of 1920s locations, including rooms in Mr Gatsby's mansion and the speakeasy.
