TWO SINKHOLES have been reported on roads in the same Flintshire town.
Sinkholes have on emerged on Fron Road in Connah's Quay and the junction of Ffordd Llanarth and Courbet Drive in recent days.
Regarding the one at the junction of Ffordd Llanarth, local couincillor, Andy Hughes, said on Sunday night: "Streetscene have attended, placing cone[s] overnight. It will be sorted tomorrow."
After photos of the sinkholes were posted on social media, local residents raised concerns about the state of the roads in Connah's Quay.

One person said: "That's two in recent days, what's going on with the roads here?"
Another jokingly added: "Another one? Someone must be tunnelling under the town."
Flintshire Council said its teams are aware of the sinkholes and will be visiting both sides. Work will take place to make them safe.
