POLICE patrols have been stepped up around Borras due to complaints about "anti-social" drivers, it has been said.
The Wrexham City police team issued a request for better manners from impatient drivers following the concerns.
A spokesman said: "Neighbourhood Policing officers have been patrolling the area of the A5156 Llan Y Pwll link road around Borras due to complaints from local residents around speeding and anti-social driving.
"Officers will continue to show a presence in the area to deter this behaviour through the coming weekends and rush hours where we appear to be the having most complaints.

"Please, also show some consideration when in stationary traffic, there is no reason to rev your engine - the lights won't change any quicker!
"You may see our officers on the overbridge with other officers ready to discuss your driving at the roundabouts at either end of the road.
"Please enjoy the weather and drive with consideration and care."
