A WREXHAM-based football club has partnered up with the Welsh Blood Service to encourage more blood donors to come forward.
The organisation dedicated to ensuring a safe and sustainable blood supply has now returned to Wrexham and is actively seeking blood donors.
FC United of Wrexham is backing its 'Blood, Sweat and Cheers' campaign which aims to encourage people to donate blood, emphasising the significant impact a single donation can have on the lives of others.
The club says it is dedicated to not only excelling on the football pitch but also making a positive difference off it too.
A single blood donation has the potential to save the lives of six babies, highlighting the critical need for blood donors in the community.
Therefore, FC United of Wrexham is calling upon its loyal supporters and the wider community to step forward and become lifesavers by donating blood.
Club chairman Andrew Ruscoe said: "Blood donations is a simple yet incredibly impactful act of kindness that has the power to transform lives."
