A SHOP left empty after a Co-op relocated is set to reopen as a convenience store.
The former Co-op store on Chester Road in Pentre, Deeside, has been empty for the last two years. The Co-op moved just down the road into a new shop on Queensferry Industrial Estate in 2021.
The old store has been vacant since then and was placed on the market. Now though the shop is due to reopen as a One Stop convenience store, with new jobs created.
A pllanning application has been submitted to Flintshire Council for new One Stop associated signage for the store.
The new store will be open daily from 7am to 10pm. The opening date for it is currently unknown.
