A broader response may be needed to tackle congestion issues outside Wrexham schools, a police Inspector has suggested.
The Leader has reported recently on calls from Wrexham Inspector Luke Hughes to motorists regarding "selfish" parking near schools.
Just this week, he reiterated the message after a driver in a "rush to squeeze onto double yellow lines" almost saw a woman with a pushchair come "into contact with the vehicle."

In his latest policing update, covering 7am on Tuesday through to 7am on Wednesday, he said a call was received at 10am to report "congestion issues" outside Wat's Dyke school.
Insp Hughes continued: "It's clear that many of the schools in the area have similar congestion issues.
"I feel a broader response is required and maybe some parent / teacher led local enforcement.
"It’s amazing what a clipboard and a high viz jacket can achieve.
"We will also give the situation some more consideration and the Neighbourhood Policing Team will do their bit to raise our visibility."
