Dementia Action Week
It's not called getting old, it's called getting ill: Dementia Action Week, May 15-21.
Dementia diagnosis rates have stagnated, many are facing dementia alone, without access to the vital support that a diagnosis can bring.
This Dementia Action Week we're supporting individuals and their families to seek a timely diagnosis and avoid reaching crisis point. You can fill out a symptoms checklist online www.alzheimers.org.uk/get-involved/dementia-action-week
Our friendly staff are available should you need help to get online. Getting a diagnosis can be daunting, but we believe it's better to know. And so do 91% of people living with dementia.
