Wrexham police officers joined their British Transport Police colleagues this week for an anti-knife crime initiative.
Officers from the city's neighbourhood team worked with their counterparts for a joint operation at Wrexham General Station as part of Operation Sceptre - a national week of action which runs from May 16-22.
A spokesman for Wrexham City police said: "This is an ongoing operation to combat knife crime where some of our aims are to identify those who may be in possession of knives and to carry out searches of areas where items may be hidden.
"Knife crime remains very low in Wrexham and nothing was found as part of our searches which is exactly what we would hope for.
