A TEENAGER who became abusive with police has been handed a conditional discharge.
Tomos Hughes, of Bryn Derw in Cefn Y Bedd, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old admitted that on April 23, at Street Record in Pentre Broughton, he used threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
Rhian Jackson, prosecuting, told the court that on the day of the offence, police were called to an incident in Pentre Broughton.
Officers attended, to find four males present. One of those was Hughes, who appeared intoxicated.

Ms Jackson said he was loud and became abusive towards the officers, hurling abusive names at them and telling them: "Get your f****** hands off me now."
Emma Simoes, defending, told the court her client "holds his hands up" to his behaviour, but claims the officers were "extremely heavy handed."
She added: "He said he was being compliant but they put the handcuffs on tight.

"He was shouting at them because they weren't listening to him."
Deputy District Judge Paul Conlon told the defendant while the incident wasn't the worst example of a public order offence, he should have fully cooperated with the police.
He handed down a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered the defendant to pay a £26 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
