AS THE SUMMER months are just around the corner and the weather starts to pick up, many will no doubt be looking forward to relaxing in a beer garden in the sun. 

With a cold drink in hand, there is something about being outside with friends under the sun whilst making the most of the long nights.

Wrexham and Flintshire are home to some many popular pub beer gardens which will no doubt be hot spots this summer. 

We asked Leader readers to share with us their favourite places to enjoy a beer or two when the sun comes out. 

Laura Mitchell said: "In Flintshire, The George, The Dragon and The Dee. In Wrexham, The Turf."

The list goes on, with many readers reminding us just how many great beer gardens there are to be enjoyed this summer. 

Overwhelmingly, the most common answer was The Trap in Buckley for its decor and views.

There was also a tremendous ammount of support for The White Lion in Buckley.
