A FORMER nightclub in Wrexham has been sold at auction.
The site on Town Hill had previously been home to South Central and later Mojo Bar and Restaurant.
The nightclub became known as South, and closed in 2018 but reopened in 2019 as Mojo Bar and Restaurant under new owners.
This bar also shut and the site has been empty in recent years. It was then placed on the market and has now been sold after going to auction with a £160,000 guide price.
A spokesperson for Town and Country Property Auctions said: “Town and Country Property Auctions are pleased to announce the sale of the unit formerly known as ‘South Central’.
"We look forward to seeing the development take shape in the forthcoming months.”

In the auction listing the agent said the property would be suitable for a number of uses, subject to appropriate planning consents being granted.
At this stage it is not known what the new owner's plans for it are.
