POLICE officers were tasked with 'moo-ving' a herd of cows from the A55 over the weekend.
North Wales Police quickly took care of the 'a-moo-sing' incident at Dosbhill on Sunday, May 14.
Officers joked that they 'swapped their white hats for a flat cap' as they removed the animals from the road.
The trick of promising some 'fresh grass to munch on' seemed to work and the cows were soon back safely in their field.
As always, the NWP team were full of great puns as they re-called the incident.
A statement form the Roads Policing Unit read: "After an extremely busy weekend, we’ve rounded tonight off changing our white hats for a flat cap and a pair of wellies.
"Unfortunately a small number of cows made their way onto the A55 at Dobshill."

It added: "We’re sorry for the delays caused but pull the udder one I hear you cry but they were not for moooooving
"Anyway after the expert cow whisper’s turned up they were coaxed back into their field with promises of fresh grass to munch on. The trick worked and the A55 is all clear and back open…
"On a serious note, we understand your frustrations with a full closure however for your safety and the animals it had to be done. Anyway we’re milking this now. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and drive safe."
