ONE person was taken to Stoke Hospital following an RTC near Wrexham yesterday.
North Wales Police closed the A483 and A5 near Halton on Saturday (May 13) following a collision involving a motorcyclist.
It was closed completely from the Halton roundabout to the Gledrid roundabout.
The road was closed at around 4pm for almost two hours while emergency services attended the scene.
Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service (WAST) were in attendance, with a Duty Operations Manager, one land ambulance and an air ambulance all at the incident.
Police advised motorists to avoid the area, while they dealt with the incident.
Today (May 14) a WAST spokesperson confirmed that a person was airlifted to Stoke Hospital following the collision yesterday.
