A SCHOOL in Wrexham came together with a nearby church to celebrate the Kings' coronation this week.
All Saint's Church in Wrexham organised a celebration on Monday, May 8 at the Church Hall, following King Charles' coronation on Saturday.
The church had a number of displays involving royal memorabilia, thanks to Paul Smith, who has amassed an impressive collection of royal treasures.
Victoria CP School - which is almost next door to the church then became involved, with hundreds of pupils visiting to see the displays which were still adorning the church.
The visits were organised by the headteacher Debbie Eccles.

On Tuesday and Wednesday over 300 children from 5-year groups visited, and were given a talk on the displays.
Mrs Eccles said: "Paul has created a fantastic display at All Saints Church on Poyser Street for the community.
"The display has been at the church all week and many people have visited to view the special artefacts from Paul's collection.
"The pupils from Victoria CP School were invited by Paul and Father Dylan, Vicar, to visit the church to view the artefacts and to receive a workshop from Mr Smith.
"The children learnt so much about heraldry, the coronation, and the fascinating story about how Paul started his collection."
