THE WREXHAM AFC stars have enjoyed a title celebration like no other - by partying over in Las Vegas.

The 15-year wait for promotion back to the English Football League for the Reds ended on April 22.

That came thanks to a 3-1 win over Boreham Wood in which they also secured the National League title.

Trips to the likes of Crewe Alexandra, Grismby Town, Walsall and fellow Welsh club Newport County now await Wrexham in League Two during the 23/23 season.

But, ahead of all that, the players were treated to the trip of a lifetime to Las Vegas, USA, courtesy of the club's star owners.

Star striker Paul Mullin told GQ Magazine that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney told players to 'leave their cards at home'.

Speaking ahead of the trip, he said: "It became a thing where if we won the league, we'd get a holiday. So we're off to Vegas.

"Ryan and Rob told us to leave our cards at home, they're sorting the lot."

The Wrexham stars were first given a heroes welcome when they arrived at the Hakkasan nightclub.

Whilst there, they were greeted by the club's name being up in lights, as well as the crowd cheering them on as they walked in.

And it seems that the days that followed in 'Sin City' were equally as incredible for all involved.

Players spent one afternoon spent partying poolside at the Wet Republic Ultra Pool at the MGM Grand.

The team also made their way to Spago restaurant at the Bellagio hotel, where they were joined by Rob and wife and 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' co-star Kaitlin Olson.

The players also spent time at the Omnia nightclub, where they were met by waving sparklers and enormous Welsh flags.

Legendary DJ Steve Aoki was on the decks there and invited the players into his booth.

The final leg of the promotion party saw Wrexham's promotion heroes unwind at a pool party at TAO Beach Dayclub - where Rob, Kaitlin and the players posed for some photos.

In an interview with TalkSPORT, Wrexham captain Ben Tozer revealed more about the trip's itinerary.

He said: "We got there Thursday dinner time, they took us to Hakkasan for dinner which was amazing and then we went to Hakkasan Nightclub and they treated us to the best tables and it was just insane really. Almost everything was insane."

"The next day they took us to Wet Republic Pool Party which was again the best tables and the best layout for us and everything was free, then in the evening was Omnia Nightclub and four of us got to go up on stage with Steve Aoki."

Wrexham's players will now get some well-deserved rest and time with their families before they head off on a US pre-season tour, which sees them take on Chelsea in North Carolina, LA Galaxy II in LA and a Manchester United side in San Diego.
