A FLINTSHIRE mum has been told to "grow up" after kicking a police officer in the face and racially abusing a woman at a hospital.
Sarah Machell, of Elwy Crescent in Flint, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday for sentence.
She'd previously admitted two offences of assaulting an emergency worker, as well as one of racially aggravated harassment or distress.
Julia Galston, prosecuting, told the court that police and ambulance staff were called to Elwy Crescent regarding an incident involving Machell on August 24 last year.
She refused to speak with them and became aggressive, lashing out and swearing at the top of her voice.
When she carried on, Machell, 29, was arrested and taken to an ambulance for assessment.

She kicked out at a police officer, striking him to the right cheek, whilst sat on the stretcher.
The officer said he was struck with such force, he was "propelled" into the seat opposite.
Machell was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital, where she continued to lash out and swear.
She kicked another officer to the elbow with force.
Ms Galston told the court that whilst in her cubicle, Machell was asked by an oriental lady to be quiet as there were other patients in the vicinity.
The mum-of-three responded by telling her to "f*** off" and hurling a racial slur at her.
Gary Harvey, defending, told the court his client recognised her behaviour had not been appropriate.
"I've seen the video," he said.
"It's not her finest hour, I have to say.
"She was heavily intoxicated and she bitterly regrets it.

"She has children and it's not a good example for them. She is very sorry for what happened."
Probation officer Andrew Connah told the court: "She accepts full responsibility for this offence, and tells me this has been a real wake-up call for her.
"She has since addressed her issue of binge drinking."
Nicholas Colbourne, chair of the bench, told Machell: "Nasty incident - it's time to grow up."
Machell received a 12 month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work.
She must pay each of the officers she assaulted £100 in compensation.
