A "WONDERFUL" designer of post box toppers has been rewarded for her efforts.
Hawarden residents will be familiar with the talents of Pauline Scutt - who creates the various post box toppers seen outside Hawarden Post Office.
The latest of her masterpieces was to mark King Charles III's Coronation.
She has also done others to commemorate Remembrance Day and other occasions.
And Hawarden Post Office has rewarded Pauline for her talents and efforts.
Mark Rogers, postmaster and owner, said: "We at Hawarden Post Office Village wanted to thank her on behalf of us all and the community of Hawarden by presenting her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Cedar House Flowers for making us smile every day we pass them.
"Keep up the great work Pauline, you're a star."

One person said: "So very well deserved. You are a village treasure, Pauline."
Another said: "This topper has got to be my favourite so far, but then I say that with each one produced. Well done, Pauline, keep up the great work, your artistic talent is very much appreciated and enjoyed."
