A WREXHAM business has been named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces (2023) in its category at an annual awards.
Biopharmaceutical company Ipsen Wrexham won the prestigious Great Place to Work award, based on employee feedback.
This revealed that 72% of those working at the Wrexham facility, known as Ipsen’s ‘neuroscience centre of excellence’ in the UK, considered it a great place to work.

Ipsen Wrexham, which manufactures products that are exported to patients in more than 90 countries, also scored highly for diversity, ethnicity, inclusion, promotion of physical and mental health, camaraderie, employee pride and comfort levels with job security. Earlier in the year, it was lauded for consistently placing employee wellbeing at the heart of its workplace culture, being accredited as one of the Best Workplaces UK for Wellbeing.
