HEAVY rain has caused flash floods in areas of Wrexham this afternoon.
The downpour has left one or two feet of water gathered near Fairy Road, according to locals.
There is also significant water in the vicinity of Ruabon Road in Hightown, with one local resident saying it was 'particularly bad'.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service say they have had a number of reports of flash floods in the Wrexham area this afternoon.
